Usia 11-16 tahun merupakan usia normal mendapatkan menstruasi pertama kalinya. Pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi merupakan hal yang penting bagi remaja, Pengetahuan remaja putri tentang kesehatan reproduksi masih sangat rendah, terbukti pada remaja putri yang mengalami menstruasi pertama pada 32 siswi belum mengetahui menstruasi secara menyeluruh dan belum pernah mendapatkan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi terhadap pengetahuan remaja tentang menstruasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Pre-Eskperimental Design (One Group Pretest and Posttest). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest design. Data primer berupa kuesioner yang diberikan pada siswi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi. Populasi penelitian 110 siswi dengan menggunakan teknik kuota sampling sebanyak 84 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata pengetahuan pretest dan posttest sebesar 16,87 dan 24,31. Nilai signifikasi pengetahuan 0,000 Ha diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan reproduksi terhadap pengetahuan menghadapi mentruasi pada remaja putri.

Reproductive Health Education to Knowledge of

Menstruation on Young Girls

 

 

Abstract

 

The normal age to get first menstruation is between 11-16 years. Adolescents need to have the knowledge of reproductive health, but young girls’ knowledge of reproductive health is still very low, in fact that 32 young girls who experienced their first menstruation did not know about menstruation and had never received reproductive health education. This research objective was to determine the effect of reproductive health education on adolescent knowledge of menstruation. This study used a pre- experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest design approach. Primary data was in the form of a questionnaire given to female students before and after being given reproductive health education. The study population was 110 female students, taken using a quota sampling technique of 84 samples. The results showed that the average pretest and posttest knowledge are 16.87 and 24.31. The significance value of knowledge is 0.000 and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an effect of reproductive health education to knowledge of menstruation on young girls.
