Kesehatan merupakan salah satu aspek yang menentukan status kesejahteraan suatu negara. Di Indonesia, angka kesehatan masyarakat menurun salah satunya karena pandemi Covid-19. Di Indonesia kasus Covid-19 per 5 April 2021, jumlah kasus positif sebanyak 1.537.967 orang. Jumlah kasus kumulatif tertinggi di Kabupaten Tegal per Januari 2022 terdapat di Kecamatan Slawi, dengan jumlah 1512 kasus. Jumlah kumulatif balita di Kabupaten Tegal yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19 sejumlah 327 kasus, dimana terdapat kasus pada anak di Desa Kalisapu. Peran orangtua dalam mengenalkan Covid-19, diperlukan untuk mendukung perilaku pencegahan Covid-19 pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sikap orang tua terhadap perilaku pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada anak. Penelitian kuantitatif ini merupakan penelitian korelatif, dengan metode Cross Sectional, bertempat di Desa Kalisapu, Kec.Slawi, Kab.Tegal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh orang tua yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah di Desa Kalisapu, Slawi, Tegal tahun 2021. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak prasekolah, yaitu usia 3-5 tahun di Desa Kalisapu, besar sampel sejumlah 70 orang, dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Pengumpulan data primer menggunakan teknik observasi menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Kendall Tau. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan antara sikap orang tua terhadap perilaku pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada anak, dengan nilai p = 0,0001

Parents’ Attitudes Against the Behavior of Preventing the Transmission of Covid-19

in Preschool Children in Kalisapu Village Tegal

 

Abstract

Health is one aspect that determines the welfare status of a country. In Indonesia, public health numbers have declined, one of which is due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In Indonesia, with Covid-19 cases as of April 5, 2021, positive cases were 1,537,967 people. The highest cumulative number of cases in Tegal Regency as of January 2022 is in Slawi District, with 1512 cases. The cumulative number of children under five in Tegal Regency who have confirmed Covid-19 is 327 cases, of which there were cases in children in Kalisapu Village. The role of parents in introducing Covid-19 is needed to support Covid-19 prevention behavior in children. This study aims to analyze the influence of parents‘ attitudes on preventing the transmission of Covid-19 in children. This quantitative research uses the Cross-Sectional method, located in Kalisapu Village, Slawi District, Tegal Regency. The population in this study were all parents who had preschool children in Kalisapu Village, Slawi, Tegal, in 2021. The sample in this study were parents who had preschool children aged 3-5 years in Kalisapu Village. The sample size was 70 people. By using purposive sampling. Primary data collection using observation


techniques using a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis using the Kendall Tau test. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between the attitudes of parents towards the behavior of preventing the transmission of Covid-19 in children, with a p-value = 0.0001
