Peran ibu sangat dibutuhkan dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak.Pola asuh yang diterapkan ibu sangat erat kaitannya dengan perkembangan sosial.Usia 3-6 tahun merupakan usia pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang optimal. Tipe pola asuh otoriter akan membentuk anak menjadi pendiam dan sulit mengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara pola asuh ibu dengan perkembangan sosial anak usia 3-6 tahun. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis studi korelasi dengan desain penelitian Cross sectional dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara sebagai alat pengambilan data.Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu yang memiliki anak usia 3-6 tahun sebanyak 41 responden. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah Kendall tau. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden menerapkan pola asuh otoriter sebanyak 70,7%, sedangkan hasil observasi melalui DDST II diperoleh mayoritas anak dalam kategori fail sebanyak 58,5%. Hasil analisa data diperoleh nilai p value 0,002, ada hubungan antara pola asuh dengan perkembangan social pada anaka usia 3-6 tahun. Penelitian ini diharapkan agar orang tua merubah pola asuh yang diterakkan selama ini menjadi pola asuh demokratis, sehingga perkembangan anak akan baik sesuai tahap tumbuh kembang yang dilalui.

MATERNAL PARENTING TO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN 3 TO 6 YEARS OF AGE AT MOJOREJO VILLAGE

Abstract
Mother's role is very important in the growth and development of children. Parenting style applied by mother is closely related to social development. Age 3-6 years is the age of optimal growth and development. This type of authoritarian parenting will make children quiet and difficult to make decisions. This study was aimed at determining whether there is a relationship between maternal parenting and social development of children aged 3-6 years. This research used correlation study with a cross sectional research design using questionnaires and interviews as data collection tools. The sampling technique used total sampling. The samplse in this study were all mothers who had children aged 3-6 years as many as 41 respondents. The data analysis employed Kendall tau. The research shows that the majority of respondents apply an authoritarian parenting pattern as much as 70.7%, while the results of observations through DDST II obtained the majority of children in the fail category as much as 58.5%. The results of data analysis obtained a p value of 0.002, there is a relationship between parenting and social development in children aged 3-6 years. Parents are expected to change the parenting style from the old-fashioned style to a democratic one, so children will have a better children development that suit to their growth and developmental stages.
