Abstrak
Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan asupan terbaik bagi bayi sejak lahir hingga usia 2 tahun. ASI
eksklusif diberikan pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan. Angka cakupan keberhasilan ASI eksklusif di kabupaten
Karanganyar pada tahun 2018 masih terbilang rendah, yaitu 62,3%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah
untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan pola pemberian ASI dengan keberhasilan ASI ekskusif. Pola
pemberian ASI meliputi frekuensi, durasi, cara pemberian, dan selang waktu pemberian ASI. Studi ini
merupakan penelitian observasional analitik yang menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi
dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki anak usia 6-12 bulan yang berjumlah 238 orang. Teknik
sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling dengan ukuran sampel 72 responden. Pengumpulan
data menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji
Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan frekuensi pemberian ASI, durasi, cara
pemberian, dan selang waktu pemberian ASI dengan keberhasilan ASI eksklusif, dan diperoleh nilai
signifikasi p<0,001. Simpulan: terdapat hubungan pola pemberian ASI dengan keberhasilan ASI
eksklusif. Saran: tenaga kesehatan sebaiknya memberikan informasi terkait pola pemberian ASI yang
benar dan pentingnya ASI eksklusif untuk menunjang keberhasilan program tersebut.

Patterns on Breastfeeding to the Success of Exclusive Breastfeeding
Abstract
Mother’s milk (ASI) is the best intake for babies from birth to 2 years of age. Exclusive breastfeeding
is given to infants aged 0-6 months. The success rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Karanganyar district
in 2018 is still relatively low, at 62.3%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship
between breastfeeding patterns and the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The pattern of breastfeeding
includes the frequency, duration, method of giving, and the interval of breastfeeding. This study is an
analytic observational study using a cross sectional design. The populations in this study were 238
mothers who had children aged 6-12 months. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling
on 72 respondents. Questionnaire was used as the research instrument on collecting the data. The data
obtained were analyzed by Chi Square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the
frequency of breastfeeding, duration, mode of administration, and the interval of breastfeeding with the
success of exclusive breastfeeding, and a significance value of p<0.001 was obtained. Conclusion: there
is a relationship between breastfeeding patterns and the success of exclusive breastfeeding. Suggestion:
