EFEKTIVITAS EDUKASI VIRTUAL BERBASIS VIDEO TENTANG PENERAPAN PERSONAL HYGIENE SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGENDALIAN PENULARAN COVID-19 DI DUKUH TROWANGSAN, COLOMADU, KARANGANYAR

Abstract

The transmission of Covid-19 in the community is still ongoing, this causes Covid-19 cases to
continue to grow. One of the steps to be able to solve this extraordinary case, is to socialize
the movement of keeping higyene personal when outside the house or as soon as it reaches
inside the home environment. This concept is expected to reduce and even break the chain of
Covid-19 infection (Buana, 2020). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of video-based
virtual education on the application of personal hygiene as an effort to control the transmission
of Covid-19 in Dukuh Trowangsan, Colomadu, Karanganyar. The type of research used is
observational analytics. Sampling technique used is “Purposive Sampling†with a sample
number of 38 respondents and conducted in Dukuh Trowangsan, Colomadu, Karanganyar. The
instrument used is questionnaire. The results showed a pretest average score of 1.87 and a
posttest average score of 3.47. Thus statistically it can be concluded that there is an increase in
the average value between pretest and posttest. Based on the Independent Samples Test known
sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 and t count of 7,535 > t table 1,995 (α/2; df = 0.025).
Based on the results of statistical tests in the independent test t test declared Ho rejected and
Ha accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average
results in the pretest and posttest.

ABSTRAK
Penularan Covid-19 di masyarakat masih terus berlangsung, hal ini menyebabkan kasus
Covid-19 terus ber tam bah. Salah satu langkah untuk dapat menye le saikan kasus luar biasa
ini, adalah dengan mensosialisasikan gerakan menjaga personal higyene ketika berada di luar
rumah mau pun segera setelah sampai di dalam ling kungan rumah. Konsep ini diharapkan
dapat mengurangi bahkan memutus mata ran tai infeksi Covid-19 (Buana, 2020). Penelitian
ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas edukasi virtual berbasis video tentang penerapan
personal hygiene sebagai upaya pengendalian penularan Covid-19 di Dukuh Trowangsan,
Colomadu, Karanganyar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik observational. Tehnik
pengambilan sampel yang di gunakan adalah “Purposive Sampling†dengan jumlah sampel
38 responden dan dilakukan di Dukuh Trowangsan, Colomadu, Karanganyar. Instrumen yang
digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menun jukkan nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 1,87
dan nilai rata-rata posttest 3,47. Dengan demikian secara statistik dapat disimpulkan terdapat
kenaikan nilai rata-rata antara pretest dan posttest. Berdasarkan Independent Samples Test
diketahui nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dan t hitung sebesar 7,535 > t tabel 1,995
(α/2; df = 0,025). Berdasarkan hasil uji statistik dalam uji independent sample t test dinyatakan

Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan yang
signifikan antara rata-rata hasil pada pretest dan posttest.
