PELAKSANAAN INFORMED CONSENT PADA PASIEN BEDAH DI RSUD dr. SOEDIRAN MANGUN SUMARSO WONOGIRI

Abstract

ABSTRACT

Based on the initial survey in RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri showed there was only 1 witness in the process of implementing informed consent. This has an impact on the implementation of the medical action approval process. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of informed consent in surgical patient in RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri. The type of this research is descriptive.  Subjects in this study were doctors in the surgical poly. The object of this research is the implementation of informed consent on approval and rejection of medical action. The data were collected by interview and observation using interview guidance study instrument and observation guideline. Data analysis was done by descriptive analysis. The result of the medical action approval process indicates that there is only one witness where two witnesses should be involved in the implementation of the medical action process, namely the absence of a nurse witness during the informed consent process. The conclusion of the research is that the informed consent approval process has not been appropriate because of the lack of witnesses in the implementation of informed consent and has not been included about the signature of the nurse as a witness to the SOP. Hospitals are advised to have witnesses and to include anyone who should be present as a witness to SOP.

Berdasarkan survai awal di RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri ini menunjukkan hanya terdapat 1 orang saksi pada proses pelaksanaan informed consent. Hal ini berdampak terhadap terlaksananya proses persetujuan tindakan medis. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan informed consent pada pasien bedah di RSUD dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Wonogiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah dokter yang ada di poli bedah. Obyek dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan informed consent pada persetujuan dan penolakan tindakan medis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian pedoman wawancara dan pedoman observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil proses persetujuan tindakan medis menunjukkan hanya terdapat 1 orang saksi dimana yang seharusnya terdapat 2 orang saksi pada pelaksanaan proses tindakan medis tersebut yaitu tidak adanya saksi perawat selama proses pelaksanaan informed consent. Simpulan dari penelitian adalah proses persetujuan informed consent belum sesuai karena kurangnya saksi dalam pelaksanaan informed consent dan belum dicantumkan tentang tanda tangan perawat sebagai saksi pada SOP. Rumah Sakit disarankan harus adanya saksi serta mencantumkan mengenai siapa saja yang harus ada sebagai saksi pada SOP.
